Germany-Czech border treaty: digital documentation of the border line

Germany and the Czech Republic concluded a new treaty on their common state border on 12 March 2025. The border line itself remains unchanged, but it is documented for the first time with precise digital coordinates and overview maps. In future, minor corrections to the documents can be made more easily without requiring a new treaty each time. The Bundestag approves the treaty by law.
