Proposal summary
Many elite athletes in the national squad have very little money to live on: their income is often below the subsistence level, and after their sports careers they often lack vocational training. In future, all national squad athletes should receive at least 1.800 Euro gross per month after finishing school, be covered by social insurance, and be able to complete training or a degree at the same time. Funding is to come from the federal budget.
