Germany–Czechia border treaty, digital border documentation

Germany and Czechia concluded a new treaty on their common state border on 12. March 2025. The border line itself remains unchanged, but for the first time it is recorded digitally and precisely in a coordinates register. In the future, smaller technical updates to the border documentation can be made more easily and without an extensive legislative procedure. With this act, the Bundestag approves the treaty.
