Data Access and Data Use (EU Implementation Act)

The EU has set new rules on who may use data from connected devices and digital services. To enforce these rules in Germany, a national law is needed. The Bundesnetzagentur is designated as the competent authority and will oversee compliance. The Bundesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz will be involved when personal data is affected. Violations can be punished with fines.
