Act adjusting fuel prices and amending the Act against Restraints of Competition

In future, petrol stations may increase their fuel prices only once a day at 12:00. Price reductions remain possible at any time. This is intended to give drivers more reliable price information, for example via comparison apps. In addition, the Federal Cartel Office will receive new tools to sanction excessive prices in the fuel trade more quickly and easily.
