Collective Overview 175: Petitions on visas, immigration law, credit, and the solidarity surcharge

In Collective Overview 175, the Petitions Committee dealt with a total of 18 petitions from the public. The topics range from visa matters and banking and credit to immigration law, the solidarity surcharge, and the power to issue instructions to public prosecutors. Several petitions were forwarded as so-called Material to the responsible ministries, including the Federal Foreign Office and the Federal Ministry of Finance. For six submissions on immigration law, the committee closed the proceedings because the requests had been met at least in part. The remaining petitions were closed without further measures.
