Budget chapter 60: General financial administration

The federal government sets its budget plan for 2026. Total expenditure amounts to 520.5 billion euros. In addition, there are special funds, for example 25.5 billion euros for the Bundeswehr and 58.9 billion euros for infrastructure and climate neutrality. To finance all expenditures, the federal government may take out new loans of up to 89.9 billion euros.
