Bill to introduce electronic in-person notarization

Proposal summary
Until now, notaries have had to produce deeds almost always on paper, even though many other steps in notarial work already run digitally. That is set to change. In the future, notarizations may also be recorded entirely as an electronic document if all parties are personally present. Signatures are then provided digitally, for example via a qualified electronic signature or on a digital signature pad. This saves time and effort because it removes the detour via paper and later scanning.
