Transfer of public tasks during postal restructurings, early retirement for civil servants

In future, Deutsche Post AG will be able to pass on public tasks that the state has assigned to it to a successor company during internal restructurings. This gives the Federal Government a clear legal basis. In addition, a special rule for civil servants at postal successor companies is extended: anyone aged 55 or older who cannot find a suitable post can retire early without deductions until the end of 2026. An exception is also introduced to the ban on dividend payments for state-supported energy companies.
