Transfer of public tasks during restructuring of Deutsche Post AG

Deutsche Post AG can restructure parts of its business and, in doing so, transfer public tasks it has carried out so far to a successor company. This law regulates how this transfer is to take place in an orderly way and without gaps. In addition, civil servants at Post successor companies can continue, until the end of 2026, to retire early if there is no suitable position for them. A narrowly limited exception is also created to the ban on dividend payments for companies that have received government financial assistance.
