Act to modernize and digitize the fight against undeclared work

In future, Customs is to take more digital and more targeted action against undeclared work. Authorities automatically exchange data to better identify risk areas and steer inspections to where violations are likely. Honest companies are to be inspected less often, while dishonest ones are to be more in focus. By 2029, the federal government expects EUR 858 million in additional revenue for taxes and social security.
