Official title: Act repealing the Cuxhaven free zone and amending other provisions (second reading)

Proposal summary
The so-called Cuxhaven free zone is being abolished. This special status for the Port of Cuxhaven now creates more effort than benefit because European customs rules for free zones and regular ports have since largely converged. In addition, the tax relief for agricultural diesel for agricultural businesses will be continued, which otherwise would have expired at the end of 2025. Customs laws are also being aligned with newer EU rules.
