Establish a body under Article 13(6) of the Basic Law

The Bundestag is setting up a new oversight body that monitors when and how authorities may use technical means to monitor living spaces. The body is required by the Basic Law and consists of nine members. It is intended to ensure that such intrusions into privacy occur only under strict conditions.
