Establishing an Enquete Commission “Review of the COVID-19 pandemic and lessons for future pandemic events”

The Bundestag establishes an Enquete Commission to comprehensively review the COVID-19 pandemic and the state’s response. The commission is to examine what went well and what went poorly, and develop clear recommendations on how Germany can be better prepared for a future pandemic. It includes 14 MPs and 14 experts. The commission will submit its final report by 30 June 2027.
