People who drive to work can currently deduct part of their commuting costs from tax. This amount is to be increased to 50 cents per kilometer from the first kilometer. At the same time, the rule is to apply permanently and no longer expire in 2026. In addition, all commuting allowances are to be adjusted automatically to inflation in the future.
