Rejection of objections to the Bundestag election

After the Bundestag election on 23 February 2025, the German Bundestag received a total of 1,035 election objections. Two of them called for a full or partial recount because the party BSW narrowly missed the five percent threshold by 9,529 votes. The objectors cited statistical anomalies in individual constituencies, possible confusion with the similarly named “Bündnis Deutschland”, and incomplete publication of election data. The Committee for the Scrutiny of Elections recommends rejecting both objections as unfounded.
