Budget Act 2026

The federal government sets how much money it may take in and spend in 2026. The total budget amounts to around 520 billion euros. In addition, the state may take out loans of up to around 90 billion euros. There are also separate funds for the Bundeswehr, infrastructure, climate protection, and reconstruction after the 2021 flood disaster.
