Budget 2026: Portfolio of the Bundeskanzleramt

The federal government adopts its budget for 2026. Total planned revenue and spending is 520.5 billion euros. Several special funds are added, including more than 25 billion euros for the Bundeswehr and almost 59 billion euros for infrastructure and climate action. The federal government may take on up to 89.9 billion euros in new borrowing.
