Bill to combat undeclared work

Customs is to become better at detecting undeclared work. To that end, the responsible authority, the Finanzkontrolle Schwarzarbeit (FKS), will be equipped with new digital tools so it can automatically analyze data from various authorities and plan inspections more precisely. Those who have rarely drawn attention so far are to be inspected less often, while those who pose a high risk are to be inspected more often. By 2029, this is expected to generate around EUR 858 million in additional tax revenue and social security contributions.
