Limit medical care for foreigners to the constitutional minimum
Rejected
Proposal summary
In the future, asylum seekers in Germany would only receive emergency treatment and medically essential care. Treatments such as psychotherapy, dental treatment or care for chronic illnesses would generally no longer be provided unless an authority approves them on a case-by-case basis. Medical care would be centralized in state-controlled facilities, similar to Denmark. Rejected asylum seekers would only be entitled to acute emergency assistance.
