Proposal summary
The Bundeswehr is to continue participating in the UN peace mission UNMISS in South Sudan. Up to 50 soldiers can be deployed there until 31 October 2026. Their tasks are primarily advising, monitoring, and supporting the mission, as well as protecting civilians. The costs amount to around 1 million euros.
