Bundeswehr mission in Kosovo

The Bundeswehr is to continue participating in the NATO mission KFOR in Kosovo. Up to 400 soldiers can be deployed there to ensure security and stability. The costs for the next twelve months amount to around 38.9 million euros. Germany has been part of this mission since 1999 and considers the presence important for security in Europe.
