Rule out a return to the Nord Stream pipelines
RejectedDefectors
Proposal summary
The Nord Stream pipelines, through which Russian gas flowed to Germany, are not to be put back into operation permanently. The Federal Government should take all necessary steps to prevent this and at the same time ensure that Europe becomes fully independent of Russian energy imports by the end of 2027 at the latest. Instead, the expansion of wind and solar energy and green hydrogen should be accelerated. Critical infrastructure such as pipelines should in future be held only in European ownership.
